Internationally known as the ‘Queen of the Internet,” blonde bombshell Cindy Margolis achieved a level of fame she could never have foreseen, thanks in no small part to earning the title of most downloaded celebrity on the net. A smart business woman, Margolis parlayed her assets into numerous gigs, including talk show host, actress, spokesperson, producer, author and philanthropist.

Born on Oct. 1, 1965 in Los Angeles, CA, Margolis’ entrepreneurial spirit began in college when she launched her own greeting card line for a business class assignment. All blonde, bosomy and beautiful, Margolis served as cover model for the cards, which in no time, began attracting attention. Agents started looking for this greeting card cover girl, and in no time, the stereotypical L.A. girl began modeling for Reebok, Vidal Sassoon, Coors, Hanes, and Sunkist.

Following her first appearance as a “Barker Beauty” hostess on the hit game show, “The Price Is Right,” Margolis quickly graduated to guest appearances on shows such as “Married...with Children” (Fox, 1987-1997) and “Murphy Brown” (CBS, 1988-1998), both in 1992; “Baywatch” (syndicated, 1989-2001) in 1993; and “Baywatch Nights” (syndicated, 1995-97) in 1996.

In 1995, Margolis’ popularity began to shift gears after an electrifying appearance on “Extra!” (1994- ) where she made her presence known. The internet fan brigade took notice, putting her atop Yahoo’s "Queen of the net" list with consecutive victories from 1996 to 1999. Overall, Margolis was downloaded over 58 million times worldwide, eventually earning an induction into The Guinness Book of World Records 2000 Millennium Issue for having been downloaded 70,000 times in a period of 24 hours.

Margolis’ success soared beyond the realm of cyberspace. Moviegoers got an eyeful of the beauty as she steamed up the big screen as the fem-bot in the smash comedy hit, “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” (1997). She followed up her auspicious debut by landing a role in “Chairman of the Board” (1998), co-starring Carrot Top and Raquel Welch. Her occasional appearances on Howard Stern’s radio show earned the late night shock jock his highest ratings ever.

Ever the entrepreneur, Margolis was one of the first celebrities to have her own on-line gaming casino – an idea inspired by her fans. A serious poker player, she was set to become the VIP Hostess at the World Series of Poker in 2006. With her ever growing fan base (women now comprise more than 44% of that loyal base) Margolis continued to expand her empire. Authoring her first book, The Girlfriends Guide to Having a Baby... When the Old Fashioned Way isn't Working was a true-life story of her struggle and ultimate triumph over infertility. Despite her good-time girl rep, Margolis found time to keep it real by debuting a line of jewelry called the iLife Collection – the proceeds from which would go to support infertility issues nationwide. Perhaps a first for a pin-up queen, Margolis was also named as the first Official Celebrity Spokesperson for RESOLVE, the National Association for Infertility.
