Synopsis:
A British officer resigns from his post just before battle breaks out in Egypt. Subsequently, his friends and fiancee each give him a white feather as symbols of his cowardice. The next day he disappears. Alone and unaided in Egypt, he goes through harrowing ordeals to gain his reinstatement in their eyes.
