HOLLYWOOD - Legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese will direct a biopic about the life of Frank Sinatra--according to the singer's youngest daughter, Tina.
Scorsese, who recently made a new 'rockumentary' on the Rolling Stones, is planning to document the "New York, New York" singer’s life--and finally end speculation that the late star was part of the American mobster scene.
Sinatra's daughter--who produced a 1992 miniseries about her dad entitled Sinatra--insists the filmmaker had always wanted to present the truth about her father, who died on May 14, 1998.
She says, "Marty has always wanted to do this. I trust him implicitly."
