Schroder rumored to leave "Blue"

HOLLYWOOD - Rick Schroder, who has played Detective Danny Sorenson on the hit ABC cop drama NYPD Blue for the past 2 ½ years, is rumored to be giving up the job, after returning briefly in the fall, according to USA Today and TV Guide. Reps for Schroder and series producer Steven Bochco are both denying the rumor. But if it's true, a likely replacement may be Mark-Paul Gosselaar from the former syndie favorite Saved By the Bell.
