Season 1 Episodes
Episode 1. Pilot (Air Date: 09/22/2003)

Danny lands in hot water when Big Ed catches him in bed with his daughter Delinda. Big Ed puts Danny on the trail of a whale, a high roller, who has gone missing.


Greg, Danny's missing friend, turns up dead on a golf course and Danny wants to find the person responsible. Ed has to run press interference for a two-faced Senator who holds a secret from Ed's CIA days over his head. An actor playing King Arthur in the casino's stage show seems to have a hard time distinguishing reality and fiction. Mary hosts the desert surfing championship.

Episode 3. Donny, We Hardly Knew Ye (Air Date: 10/06/2003)

Danny and Ed grow suspicious of a high roller who never plays a hand after cashing in forty thousand dollars. Danny outs him as looking to buy a stolen Ferrari at a Ferrari convention. Ed's cousin Donny falls for a girl on the casino floor and invites Ed to his wedding. Delinda tells Danny that it's over between them.

Episode 4. Jokers and Fools (Air Date: 10/13/2003)

It appears like Nessa has crossed the line when she's linked to a cheating ring's ten million dollar scam. Mary worries when the hotel psychic predicts a death at his next show. Delinda starts her new job. Sam plays cupid for a single woman who is upset after Anton the psychic mentions that she has condoms in her purse.

Episode 5. Groundhog Summer (Air Date: 10/20/2003)

A rapist stalks hotel guests and it becomes more personal for Big Ed and Danny when his target is Delinda. Danny and Mike believe that a group of computer nerds from MIT plan on robbing the casino during a Sci Fi convention.

Episode 6. Semper Spy (Air Date: 11/03/2003)

Danny only learns that Ed's "Hawaiian vacation" is a test of his protege's ability when a computer glitch affects the hotel's room locking system. Sam caters to a couple from Chicago. A gambler isolates Mike as his good luck charm.

Episode 7. Pros and Cons (Air Date: 11/10/2003)

A beautiful con woman uses Delinda and then Danny. Mary tries to help turn around a couple's luck with a Wayne Newton show. Two high rollers run afoul of Sam.

Episode 8. Luck Be A Lady (Air Date: 11/17/2003)

Hosting a pop diva at the Montecito proves to be interesting as a former partner of Ed's arrives with the singer as does the performer's stalker. Sam tries to handle a wealthy man who won't gamble and turns out to be at the Montecito with ulterior motives. Nessa finds an interesting way to make a pay-out to a young gambler.

Episode 9. Year of the Tiger (Air Date: 12/01/2003)

Danny plays guardian angel for the daughters of a high roller. Unfortunately, someone is also gunning for the high roller and Danny and Ed team up with a detective to try and find out who is behind the hit. Mike's moment as a life-saving good samaritan turns into a lawsuit. Mary watches over a large wedding.

Episode 10. Decks and Violence (Air Date: 12/15/2003)

One of the hotel's entertainers disappears during her magic act. The husband finds he can't do the act alone and asks Ed for his help in finding his missing wife. Mike finds out that a college friend is being backed in the Poker Championship by a loan shark and tries to extricate him from the situation.

Episode 11. Blood and Sand (Air Date: 01/05/2004)

Ed and Danny have to try to keep to opposing boxers and their posses from tearing into each other outside of the ring. One of the boxer's cut-man "loses" his prosthetic leg. A boxer in the opening fight is suspected of being ready to take a dive. Mary and Sam cater to the high rollers in the Montecito for the fight. Mike finds a bag of money and Nessa and Delinda want him to spend it.


A man from Ed's CIA past comes to the Montecito to try to sell Ed on a new security system. The installation isn't without hitch as a hotel guest hacks in. Mary tries to make a new comedian welcome.


A Las Vegas power outage brings down the town, locking down the Montecito casino. While dark, a hotel guest is shot and Nessa and Delinda take on the case. Danny and Mary spend time reminiscing in confined quarters. Mike battles feelings of claustrophobia while trapped with Ed.


Danny and Ed try to convince a suicidal Montecito guest to live life and gamble, but then the man goes on a hot win streak. Sam falls for a guest but her dream crashes down when the man's fiancee shows up at the hotel.

Episode 15. Die Fast Die Furious (Air Date: 02/08/2004)

Jean-Claude Van Damme meets with a fatal accident when he decides to attempt his own stunt while shooting at the Montecito and Ed and Danny investigate his death to discover it wasn't an accident. Sam faces off against a rival casio host vying for her high rolling clients.

Episode 16. New Orleans (Air Date: 02/16/2004)

Danny, Sam and Ed chase a player who owes the Montecito 4.5 million dollars to the sister resort in New Orleans. Mary tries to tame the ever-expanding family of a Powerball winner. Mike lords over what is to be the world's largest wet t-shirt contest.


A local wins the Montecito's big jackpot but then appears to die from a heart attack. However, when the person and cash vanish, Danny starts to investigate. Ed's mother visits and regales the staff with stories of his youth. Sam handles a frugal couple.

Episode 18. Nevada State (Air Date: 03/15/2004)

A murderer escapes prison and tracks Sam down to the Montecito, apparently bent on revenge. As the casino hosts a cheerleading competition, Mary gets re-acquainted with a high school friend. Nessa handles some rambunctious British football fans.

Episode 19. Sons and Lovers (Air Date: 03/22/2004)

Danny, Sam and Ed try to track down the snatched wallet of a big winner. One of the Montecito's machines keeps paying out. Ed worries when he spots his wife spending time with Mark McGrath.

Episode 20. The Strange Life of Bob (Air Date: 04/19/2004)

Nessa tries to learn more about a mysterious casino worker that she falls for and learns he's actually an amnesiac. Danny searches for a photographer taking intimate pictures of hotel guests without their knowledge and posting them to the internet. Sam attempts to take down a world-champion eater at their own game.

Episode 21. Family Jewels (Air Date: 04/26/2004)

Danny and Mike investigate the theft of five million dollars worth of diamonds. Sam worries when a high roller's wife-to-be says she's curbing his gambling and tries to pair him off with his assistant. A psychologist tests the mental health of the Montecito staff.

Episode 22. The Big Bang (Air Date: 05/10/2004)

The staff of the Montecito try to defuse a bomb situation as a blackjack player has one strapped to his person with suspicion of a bomb planted elsewhere. As Nessa and Ed sit at the table with the possible bomber. Mary and Sam make poolside preparations for an Everlast concert.

Episode 23. Always Faithful (Air Date: 05/17/2004)

Danny and Mike track fake money at the casino. Danny receives news that he's been activated for Marine service. Mary gets a visit from the father that abused her as a child. Big Ed deals with an old school Vegas gangster recently released from jail who lays claim to the land the Montecito sits on.
